Board of Directors

President

Gary Larson is the founder of the Guardian Long Range Competition. After being raised in and out of foster homes for most of his childhood and teenage years, he was finally adopted by his case worker just before he was set to age out of the system. A defining moment for Gary is when he returned home and gave his house key back to his mom. She explained to him that it was HIS key for his HOME. Because of this moment and his experience in foster care, Gary founded this organization with the goal to raise money for children in foster care. Since 2014, Gary has helped raise over $750,000 for foster children!

Britainy McMillan joined the Guardian Long Range Leadership Team in 2018.  She is the Vice President of McMillan Fiberglass Stocks and has worked in the firearms industry for over 10 years.  Britainy is a former elementary school teacher and principal and continues to find avenues in which she can positively affect children’s lives.  She is currently a licensed foster parent in the state of Arizona and provides care for infants needing a loving home.  Britainy loves the Guardian community and its faith-based mission and fellowship.

Web & Social Communications

Cameron Williams has been shooting guns for most of his life after being taught how to shoot at a young age by his Father who was a SWAT Member, Shooting Instructor, and Armorer. Being mostly familiar with Handguns and Carbines, he took an interest in Long Range Shooting in 2012 after shooting a custom built Precision Rifle and was hooked. He stumbled upon Guardian Long Range Competition after watching a video from 8541 Tactical's John McQuay. Finally, in 2018, he had a rifle put together and competed in his first ever long range match having never shot further than 300yds with the Guardian Long Range Competition in the pouring rain at Frontline Defense...and loved every second of it. He enjoyed the fellowship of the organization and what it stood for so much he volunteered to be more involved behind the scenes handling website updates and some social media activity.
